The woman who was charged with capital murder along with her husband for the death of two North Texas prosecutors has sought a divorce from her husband.

Kim Williams filed a divorce petition from her husband, former justice of the peace Eric Williams, on Thursday, June 27, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Coincidentally, the petition was filed the same day the two were indicted for allegedly murdering Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse, District Attroeny Mike McLelland, and his wife Cynthia.

Kim Williams admitted her guilt as well as her husband’s, and told authorities that her husband took the shot that killed all three.
