In a short statement issued to People, Hollywood stars Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced they are ending their 10 years of union with a divorce, the magazine stated on June 30.
The two started dating after filming 2003’s Daredevil, and were married soon after in 2005. They have three kids, 3-year-old Samuel, 6-year-old Seraphina, and 9-year-old Violet. The 42-year-old actor and the 43-year-old actress said they still care for each other and are committed to co-parenting their children. They are also requesting the public to value their privacy as these issues are worked out.
Ben Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Lopez until their divorce in 2004. An unnamed source stated the couple is seeking a mediated divorce.
